Consistently good placements

This was my second time using Vettery for a job search, and it was just as reliable as the first. A few years ago, I found a startup role, and this time I was looking for something more enterprise-focused. The quality of the matches for marketing roles was still high, and the process felt familiar. It's nice to know I can count on them to connect me with good companies without all the usual job board noise. The platform is pretty consistent in its offerings and service.

Love this service!

Vettery is absolutely amazing! I landed a fantastic product management position through their platform. The matches were spot on, and the whole process from profile creation to interview scheduling was so smooth. I even got a nice hiring bonus after starting. I'm telling all my friends who are looking for tech jobs to check them out. Will definitely use again if I ever need to!

Decent, but could improve

My experience finding a data science job through Vettery was mostly positive. The matching process was efficient, and I appreciated the pre-vetted companies. I ended up getting a good offer and the candidate bonus was a good incentive. However, communication could be a bit slow sometimes when waiting for feedback after interviews. It wasn't a huge deal, but definitely room for improvement there.

Got a good job!

I used Vettery to find a new software engineering role. It was pretty easy to set up my profile and they matched me with a few companies quickly. Got an offer I liked and the hiring bonus was a nice extra. Totally worth it.

Detailed breakdown of my experience

I used Vettery for a remote software engineering position. Setting up my profile took about an hour, including uploading my resume and filling out preferences. Within three days, I received three interview requests from matched companies. The automated interview scheduling feature was very convenient. I had two interviews within a week. Vettery's support team was responsive when I had a question about one of the company's tech stacks, replying within 24 hours. I ultimately accepted an offer from one of the companies and received my $500 hiring bonus after 90 days of employment. The platform successfully connected me with quality opportunities that aligned with my skills and career goals.

Good value for a job seeker

As a first-time user, I was looking for the best way to get a good tech job without spending a lot of time. Vettery was free for candidates, which was a big plus. The hiring bonus was a great incentive, essentially giving me some extra cash just for getting a job through them. It felt like a really good deal overall for finding a sales recruitment role.

Hey, wondering if anyone's had luck getting a hiring bonus from Vettery? Is it really $300-500 like I heard or is that old info?

D Danielle Ramirez 2 weeks ago
Yeah, I got one! It was definitely in that range, I think mine was $400 after I stayed at the new gig for a few months. Pretty sweet.

They do offer them, but it's usually tied to staying with the company they place you at for a certain period. So don't expect it right after you sign the offer, usually a 90-day thing or so, afaik.

thinking of signing up for Vettery. is it free for job seekers or do they charge you anything once you land a job?

M Matt H. 3 weeks ago
Totally free for candidates. They make their money from the companies hiring, so you don't pay anything.

Nope, no charge for job seekers. It's how most of these recruitment platforms work now, the companies pay them a fee.

Is Vettery only for software engineering stuff or do they have other tech roles too? I'm in data science and wondering if it's worth my time to sign up.

S Sofia T. 2 weeks ago
Nah, not just software. I saw a bunch of data science listings last time I was browsing, plus product management and marketing roles too. Worth a look.

They have a pretty good range. My friend got a sales engineering gig through them, so it's not super niche. Definitely geared towards tech though.

How does Vettery compare to Hired? I've been getting some interviews through Hired but wondering if Vettery is better for certain types of companies or something.

S Sam Hall 4 days ago
I used both and honestly, they're pretty similar. Vettery felt a bit more curated, like the matches were a bit closer to what I was looking for. Hired sometimes sent me pretty random stuff.

For me, Hired had more startup roles, while Vettery seemed to have a mix of startups and slightly more established tech companies. It really depends on what you're after.

Can you actually hide your profile from your current employer on Vettery? Don't want my boss knowing I'm looking around lol.

D Daniel Taylor 2 weeks ago
Yep! There's an option for it. You can specify companies you don't want to see your profile. Super important feature.

Yeah, they let you hide your profile from specific companies. It worked for me, my current employer never saw I was active on there.
